Hannah's Birthday part 1 HP

There is this beautiful bittersweet moment in part one of Deathly Hallows where Harry takes Hermione's hand and slowly pulls her up into a dance. It's sweet and innocent and oh how it made my heart ache when he does this silly funky move with his leg, like exaggerated swings that just seems to move in tandem of the sad sweeping lyrics of "O'Children" playing on the radio. It was like he wanted to pull Hermione out of a sea of despair, and the respite is so brief and sweet you want to cry, because the task they have is so huge and deadly and and... they're just kids.

This is part one, I have one other drawing i want to add, it's a Laby one, i'll upload it in a minute. Both drawings are dedicated to the impossibly talented and equally sweet who's birthday was just yesterday. I fell in love with Hannah's artwork and style back in march, she has such a gorgeous way of drawing in pencil that I look at her gallery in awe and just a touch of envy. Such delicate lines, especially her Harry Potter artwork. I tried to add dashes of colored pencil in homage to her style, which i can't seem to execute but it was darn fun trying!!! ^_^
